When I initially thought of summer the first thing that popped into my head was sweating. Muggy, humid, hot and sticky weather. Gross, I know, but August and I never really got along. Besides it being my birthday month, August really is the most uncomfortable month of the year. While it’s true, I didn’t want to make August look so miserable. After all, summer isn’t all that bad. There’s swimming pools, trips to the beach, no school and of course glorious air conditioning. August is also very bright. My inspiration for designing this month were it’s sunny yellow’s, splashing waters, and refreshing drinks.
