May 2012

My idea behind this calendar was to take an image that would be readily associated with the spring season and use it as the forum on which to display my calendar. No image, I feel, is more suitable than a flower wet with raindrops, ushering out April to make room for May. Although it does hold some of what traditional calendars look like, I did not want it to be like a traditional calendar. A few of my numbers overlap a water drop, so I wanted to give them that bloated, under water look. Also, just for fun, I added my birthday as one of the holidays!
